Rating for us would be 5!!!!!OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!We were ABSOLUTELY loving your warm and welcoming HOME.Your home had EVERYTHING we needed to have our size FAMILY gathering for my husband 60th and my niece's early HS graduation. Which held 54 people very very comfortably.The kitchen was fully stocked with any type of utensils, small to large size pots, crockpot, baking ware, serving items. The island was perfect to stage our food. To give you an idea of how much you can set up on it. We had 8 full sz aluminum pans and 6 half sz pans.There was plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat from 2 dining areas, outside under gazebo, lounge chairs and garage.Pool and KIDS room was a huge bonus. Kept them busy and entertained.The adults LOVED the gazebo but especially the garage with a pool table, drum set and arcade game.Our dogs also loved their stay!!!!The long long driveway was wonderful. You can park up to 11-15 cars depending on sizes.This is a HOME away from HOME location. It doesn't make you feel like your at a rental.. Felt like we were visiting a family home.THANK YOU THANK YOU & THANK YOU. You allowed us to build so much memories in a FAMILY STYLE HOME

Everything was great! Pool was heated and the home was very comfortable. Stove took some practice figuring it out and instruction for getting regular news would be helpful. Beds were comfy, and the home is very clean.

The house is great! We thought the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. We stayed as a large extended family for a wedding get together (near by), so we didn't do any cooking, but it was nice to all fit in the house and hang out together in the evenings.

Beautiful home that is perfect for a family get together. Rooms are spacious and easily accommodate larger groups. Host Jimmy is very responsive and helpful. This place has everything that you need for a wonderful family gathering. Why stay in 4-5 hotel rooms when you can visit and enjoy the reason you are on vacation together. This house has so much more than the nicest hotel has to offer! Our family was in town for our daughters’s wedding and the family room, kitchen, game room and spa couldn’t have been more perfect. I encourage you to make memories in this beautiful home— we did!!

This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving away from home. The pool and pool table entertained the kids and the hot tub and patio was the perfect hang out space for the adults. The large open kitchen made it easy to make large family dinners and enjoy meals together. Couldn't have asked for a better place, thank you!!

We especially loved the backyard with a lovely pool and grounds. Morning coffee was wonderful!The house was roomy and nice, but could have been cleaner especially in the cabinets under the bathroom sinks.The management was patient with us, but it would have been helpful to have a centralized book of information to have explicit directions and rules which were the same as the online instructions.Overall, this home afforded us a home base for a fantastic trip. These 74 year old women, friends from elementary and junior high school, made some great memories.

The house was perfect for our group of 12. Everyone pretty much had their own space (bed/bath). The pool and hot tub were amazing and there were plenty of pool floats and toys. The game room was fun and fully stocked with beach items. The kitchen was fully stocked with so many items (however, could've used more glasses/cups). There was plenty of space for everyone and plenty of things to do around the house so no reason to be bored. The house was open and spacious. It was located near plenty of shopping. The only negatives (which didn't really affect our stay): lots and lots of ants on the back patio, master shower handle was broken, the bed and pillows in the primary suite were very firm and the house didn't appear to be extremely clean (windows were filthy...hard to see through them, cobwebs on lights and splatter marks/crumbs in some areas) - there were also new clothing stickers left in th primary bathtub. It's definitely a rental home and I'm only sharing this to help set expectations for future renters but, overall, it was a great place for what we needed it for. Communication was great with the host as well. I would rent this home again.

Amazing place to make memories with family…pool is clean , lots of pool toys…house is massive, clean and has everything u need…we had a family cooking night and enjoyed the open space…air conditioning works great…home owners work quick on every question we had…would highly recommend this for a great stay making memories with family and friends.

Great size and Location

The communication with property owner was fantastic. They even went out and bought a crockpot for us before we got there. Our requests were answered quickly. The location is amazing. Just 20 minutes from the beach and halfway between LA and San Diego. The kids room upstairs has plenty of beds for the little ones, and it worked great for us. Wonderful stay!

Good size

There was plenty of room to roam. A lot of money for just two nights but overall had a good time. For the price, a heated pool should be considered included with rental and not ale cart. Not the owners fault, we just had bad weather for a May trip to San Diego.

Beautiful property

This house is beautiful. I booked it for my wedding party. It’s very spacious with lots of natural greenery and the owners are very accommodating for what you need. They offer to move furniture if you need it arranged a certain way. I even got to tour the property before my wedding party. Be sure to be transparent about what you are staying for. If it is for a party just make sure that it is approved ahead of time. I would definitely recommend booking.

Great!

Everything was better or as advertised! As a particular plus, the property managers were extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The only hiccup was that we were unable to heat the pool in time for our use - this was no one's fault though - the property manager tried to heat it but needed the wifi/the wifi was out when he tried to start heating it a day in advance. We were at a wedding when he reached out about the wifi (which just needed a reset) so it was a little too late to heat the pool by the time we responded to his message. All good though!

Amazing stay for family reunion

We had a wonderful stay here for our family reunion in July. The pool was wonderful! Our kids and their cousins had a wonderful time. The solar heating for the pool was excellent and plenty warm in July. The property was well cared for and clean. An amazing feature was the tankless water heater, endless hot water when we were all showering after swimming. Michael and Jimmy were extremely responsive during our stay. We would stay here again on a trip to San Diego. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Dad’s 80th bday family vacation

It was a perfect place for a home away from home celebration of our Dad. Plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of fun! Pool, game room, hot tub is a little on the warm side so we didn’t let little kiddo in too much. And we had doggos. The yard is perfect and included a dog run bonus! We would stay again!

Fabulous vacation home

Property and house just as described. Provided the perfect vacation weekend for our extented family. We thouroughly enjoyed all the amenities, the space and the pool/spa area. A beautiful oasis within a short drive to grocery stores. Lovely and responsive hosts. Everything was perfect.

Most incredible place in San Diego

We had the most incredible visit with our closest family and friends at the Chateau Vista. The owner's were incredibly flexible with our requests and communication was always excellent. What an inviting neighborhood, what an extraordinary house, what an amazing view! We are beyond grateful to Jimmy and Michael for sharing the Chateau Vista with us. We had the most magical time during our stay and our memories will last a lifetime.

Excellent multi-family house

We really enjoyed our stay! We had four families share the house for a long weekend. The kids loved the pool and the garage game room. The kitchen was great for cooking large meals. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful retreat

Very nice property. Spacious ( bed) rooms. The downstairs bedroom in my opinion should not be labeled a master bedroom for various reasons: 1.the bathroom is not part of the bedroom 2. only 1 nightstand w/lamp on a side, 3.limited closet space, 4 like to see more easy chairs there.
