Cottages in Vire

'This was our second stay at La Boulangerie. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really felt at home. The cottage is in a quiet location in lovely countryside with beautiful views. Various nice walks are possible from the cottage. It is truly a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to Sue, Paul and Sally for making us feel so welcome!'

'Geweldige locatie, vrijstaand en goede omheining voor de hond. Alles aanwezig in het huisje. Super vriendelijke eigenaren die hun gasten het echt naar hun zin willen maken.'

'Een prachtig huis in een heel landelijke omgeving. Onze labrador heeft net als wij genoten van de heerlijke tuin en het uitzicht! Een echte aanrader voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar rust. En wil je toch onder de mensen: er zijn prachtige steden en veel activiteiten in de omgeving.'

'Great place to stay just be aware of the extra add-ons. If you want sheets for the beds it is extra per person, same if you want them to provide you with towels. If you use the fireplace the wood is extra. Also, you are limited to the amount of electricity you can use or you are charged extra for going over.'

'Nous avons passé 1 nuit en famille (4 adultes, 2 enfants) très agréable. Propriétaire très accueillant et arrangeant. Tout le nécessaire été dispo pour le bébé également.'

'Le gîte est idéalement situé entre la Manche et le Calvados. Le cadre est calme et fort agréable. Nous y avons reçu un très bon accueil. Le logement est très bien équipé. Nous y étions le premier week-end de mai et nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine couverte et du jacuzzi. Nous conservons l’adresse.'

'Mooi verblijf. De aparte speelruimte met pingpongtafel was heel leuk. Rustige ligging. Zeer aangename vakantie gehad! Vriendelijke eigenaars.'

'The moment we came here , it felt good. Such a big and comfortabel house, the garden is beautifull and large , Jenny is so kind and always there for a chat or advice , she has a lovely dog that went great with my dog . She has horses .. me and my two teenagers loved it here , so quit en so much place . And enough to do ; we went hiking , kanoën, via ferrata in Clecy , a day to Bayeux . I absolutely hope that I come back here .'

'Hôte très accueillante,cadre et gîte parfait'

'Ein sehr schönes Haus mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der große Kamin und die alten Balken haben einen schönen Charme. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und man ist in ein paar Minuten in Villedieu les Polens wo man die Glockengießerei der NotreDame Glocken besuchen kann. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.'

'We hebben een prima verblijf gehad in dit bijzondere huisje. Een kleine oase in het mooie Franse landschap, wel wat ver weg van alle bezienswaardigheden, maar perfect als je rust zoekt.'

'Nous sommes déçus de l’accueil très froid. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas en bas alors qu’il ne faisait pas chaud dehors . Et nous avons dû appeler avant la propriétaire pour le mettre en route qui a mal pris notre demande . Le forfait ménage nous a été imposé. L’extérieur n’est pas entretenu . Bref nous en gardons un souvenir négatif. Dommage car la région est belle.'
