Great wraparound porch. Bedrooms downstairs very small, no closet in one. Huge house but space not well utilized .'

'We loved the house and where it is located!! The only disappointment was the lack of lighting out in front of the house and the grass was extremely tall!! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay!!'

'Rarely can you say that anything was perfect, but our week at this amazing property was from start to finish. The hosts have thought of everything. We are all avid cooks & bakers and this kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Our granddaughters loved everything about this home especially the impressive movie theater, comfy firepit area, water toys at the dock & secret playhouse room. It's nearly impossible to please a large group like ours but this property exceeded...

'We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views. Everything in the house was in good working order, which is always important. The chairs and couches were clean and comfortable. 'This home was so wonderful! It was impeccably clean. The beds and linens were so comfortable. My husband is a builder and he appreciated all of the little details. Our favorite was the swing on the expansive back deck. We loved sitting back there and listening to the train roll by.'

'This was our 2nd stay in this house. It is located in a very quiet cove with deep water suitable for swimming and fishing. We spent most of the time on the dock which has nice covered area to keep yourself cool in summer heat. The house was very clean, cozy, with plenty of space to spread after a day in the sun and water. Covered screened deck off the kitchen level is very nice to have , protects from elements, rain and moscitoes.'

'Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. Because we could not use the awning it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the table. The house was beautiful, however it would have been nice to have a TV in each bedroom. There were no dishcloth to wash dishes as the rack in the dishwasher is broken. No trash bags. Hand soap in only the downstairs...

'Last minute booking. Lisa was very accommodating and made check in a breeze. Located a short paddle away from the Marina for those looking to rent a boat. Also Mitchell's has a restaurant. Will return. Just wouldn't recommend for those with elders that have mobility issues if they wanted to go down to the dock! However, we enjoyed the workout!'

'The condo is very nice and fully equppied with supplies to meet your needs and I felt comfortable there. The view of the water is pretty and relaxing while setting out on the balcony or while in the hammocks next to the water. It was nice to have the restaurant just next door and be able to walk just a short distance to the lake fishing. The property surrounding the condo units is pretty also.'

"Wat een smerig hotel! Maar goed voor $45 per nacht kun je ook niet veel verwachten maar dit was echt verschrikkelijk! Vieze kamer, ontbijt; alles was “out of order” .. het stonk, enge insecten op de kamer, vuiligheid achter het bed, kapotte wc bril, brandgaten in de dekens op bed. "
