'My wife and I enjoyed two incredible nights here. Check in was incredibly smooth and fast. Counter staff were friendly and helpful. Location allowed us to travel to the city center for shopping and to Southbank on foot. The architecture has great character. We liked that the room's design and furniture selection retained most of the building's old world charm. 'Hotel is in good location. Front rooms facing Brunswick St are a little noisy. Paid extra for a balcony room which was a mistake. It was on the first floor with a pretty grim outlook. Room also seemed to smell a bit which may have been from previous guests smoking on the balcony. Otherwise the hotel was okay.'

'This is usually my hotel of choice when I have to stay in the city for work because the staff are friendly and parking isn't a pain. This stay was nice the room was big and comfortable however, I had so many issues trying to cast a show to the tv it was painful nothing would work and it really let down my stay.'

I booked a room for a family of five people. I was placed in a room with one queen/king sized bed, two twin beds, and a full/queen pull out sofa. Should be fine as there are 6 bed spaces in the room. 'Room was clean on arrival but the service clean the next day was lacking. Left dirty towels behind our door and new hand towel left had yellow stains all on it. Didn’t clean kitchen.. minor things. I stay here whenever I’m in Brisbane for the convenience, easy parking and nice rooms.'
