« Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. « I cannot put into words just how fabulous this place was… it was soooo clean I wish every place we have stayed was to this amazing high standard. The hamper was so beautiful and even included a large Easter egg. The kitchen was better provisioned than my own and the bed was super comfy. « Great property, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Well equipped with all mod cons you need. Lots of storage space for clothes in the bedrooms. Great garden for kids who loved playing in it. Overall a brilliant place that we’d definitely go to again. »
