  • This comfortable and renovated apartment is located along the \"Rio dei Carmini\" Canal. From this position you will enjoy the panorama of Giudecca island and immerse yourself in the magical Venice atmosphere!



    It is located in Sestiere Dorsoduro, famous for the presence of the Cà Foscari University and IUAV, the University of Architecture and Design. This Sestiere is attended by young people and it is close to the city centre and the touristic sites.



    The apartment is very spacious and located in a renovated Venetian building with a lift and a small garden; modern design in a classic environment!



    The apartment is well equipped with everything you need: floor heating and cooling system, sheets and towels, WI-FI and TV. It is composed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with kitchenette, table and chairs, sofa. There is also a balcony at your disposal to admire Venice! It is ideal for 4 people, friends, couples or family.

    All around the district you find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and all you need for your stay. Dorsoduro boasts a rich presence of museums, churches and palaces.

    A famous centre is Campo Santa Margherita ( a little square) attended by university students and tourists for its bars and “bacari” (little taverns) to enjoy the nightlife, too.

    You cannot miss a leisurely stroll along Fondamenta Zattere to admire the panorama of the Giudecca Canal. Furthermore, in 5 minutes by foot you can reach Accademia Galleries and take pictures from the well known Accademia bridge.

The apartment was in a quiet location, yet still easily walkable to restaurants and points of interest. It was amazing to have a balcony with a canal view! The owner was very responsive. Check in was super easy with helpful pictures. The only thing to note is that it was very hot in the unit. But overall a very nice, spacious apartment in an excellent location!

The balcony is the reason I spent the money to stay here and that alone was worth the price. I felt that the apartment could have used a few more towels and personal hygiene amenities. You could tell it was a well traveled apartment as the walls had lots of scuffing etc. but a fresh coat of paint would help. I do with the instructions for the trash were better explained in a physical printed card in the kitchen to help on the last day to ensure I removed trash properly. Otherwise the location and ease of access were 10/10!

Location was excellent with great views. Not exactly central, but still close to restaurants, shops, etc. and in a generally quiet area. Communication was good and the host/assistant even helped us book our transportation to the airport. The apartment itself wasn't dirty, but could use a nice deep clean and a few updates/fixes. The shower on the main floor needs to be resealed at the base to avoid it leaking and the latch on the shutters in the main bedroom was broken so we had to tie it together with a shoelace to avoid it banging at night with the wind. It does get warm in the evening so having access to a standup/rotating fan would be good. The listing was accurate and overall, we were happy with the accommodations. There are just a few smaller things that would have made it better.

Punched key number at outside entry. Didnt open! No one to call. Lucky, passerby could get us in. Not much kitchen stuff. Clean apartment. Nice location. It’s Venice, you will love it.

This apartment was wonderful! It was super clean and a place you felt like you could actually live there. The host was so patient in helping us when we had questions. We were two 65 yr old ladies and always felt safe in an area that let you feel what Venice is really like. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

This was a great spot from which to explore Venice-away from the crowds yet still steps away from lots of great restaurants and the rest. Thomas was super helpful and very responsive. Would love to come back again

It's worth it

The views from the apartment are reason enough for booking the place. My wife and I were quite pleased with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the apartment.

Very modern apartment in “original” Venice

We loved the modern and super stylish apartment. Perfect for a family of 4. Lively and not over-touristy Campo Santa Margherita just around the corner, with restaurants, bars, shops - and kids playing football at the campo. Peggy Guggenheim Collection 15 minutes walk. Most lovely side of Venice!

Carmini with a View is a beautiful flat in a perfect location.The 3rd floor balcony has stunning views above the Carmini canal. The elevator is a welcome At the end of a long day of walking. The flat is full of light and views from every room, clean and well organized.We loved staying there. Brenda

Italian Hideaway

We loved our stay. We selected this apartment because of its proximity to main attractions, however it was far enough away to feel “local” and escape the large tourist crowds at the end of the day. Thomas was incredibly responsive to messages and reached out to us after our first day to check-in on us. If we ever return to Italy, we would book this location again.
