'We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. 'Wow the villa at Selvatico was amazing! Beauty place to stay, plunge pool was epic, and the whole experience was very comfortable, just far enough out of the main drag to be quiet in the evenings, but close enough that the short walk was nothing to fret! Beach access was so close and quieter at this end of the beach, 10/10 no contest! '

"Room with great view over the ocean (just shame that a car park with a container was in the way). Service generally good, depending on which member of staff you got. WiFi is unreliable. Restaurant food generally delicious. Room could be better insulated, I heard the family next door through the connecting door. W’a so-called “Whatever Whenever” service is not really that - I couldn’t get help for even simple things like a stamp for a postcard."

"What a great hotel and helpful staff. The rooms are clean with a super little kitchen and fridge. Water and ice by the pool. And the best thing is it's location right on the glorious beach of Tamarindo. 10mins walk to all amenities."
