'We had a wonderful two night stay with Debbie and Alan while we were in the area for my cousin’s wedding. Debbie was an incredibly warm and welcoming host and we really enjoyed talking with her each morning.
The breakfasts were outstanding! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito and homemade hash browns were some of the best I’ve ever had.
Their home is beautiful and perfectly nestled into the landscape- very Frank Lloyd Wright. Alan designed and built the home...

'The Settlement Inn & Lavendar Spa is in Fish Creek, the heart of the Door County Peninsula, which made it easier to explore all the towns up and down the coast. Our room was attractive and comfortable. We had a gas fireplace in our room, which was wonderful on cool evenings. We made use of the small kitchen area and dining table for a glass of wine and late night snacks. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The inn is on Hwy 42 but feels quiet and secluded. We hope to return to Settlement...
