'The Porkies are a great place to hike and see some beautiful scenery and waterfalls. The lodge was the perfect location being near the Black River and Lake Superior. Justin and Brittany couldn’t have been any nicer and accommodating. '

'Property wasn’t much to look at outside but inside was perfectly clean. Good layout for our family of 5. Appliances clean and ample kitchen wares. Owners were awesome and good communications. Price was right and well located between houghton and copper harbor. Great place to stay for your trip to the Keewenaw. '

'We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!!'
