« We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice...

« This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...

« We loved our stay in this charming and beautifully decorated home. Attention to detail and concern for guest comfort is clear throughout. We loved all the different places to gather, porches, fire pit, living spaces, kitchen barstools, and dining room. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of places to explore. Lacawac Sanctuary in particular was a beautiful place for walking and picnicking. Hope to come back another time. »
