« Loved comfortable, warm lodge in ideal location »

« Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. »

« The hotel is comfortable but needs a bit of an upgrade. Our room had a lovely four poster bed but the shower needed an upgrade. Evening meal was disappointing. »

« We had a really nice stay at The Sun Inn, the room was great and clean, and we've enjoy our experience at the bar, good atmosphere, friendly staff, we'll come back for sure. »

« Was a nice holiday, great location. Carol looked after us, gave us advice on walks to town and the monument circular. kept the hot tub clean and was responsive to everyone’s needs. Hot tub was a great way to end the day no matter the weather »
