'We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️'

'The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.'

'I loved this place! The cabin was so cozy and so quiet. Mother nature did not participate so i didn't wander as much as i would have liked to, but I'll be back! The only thing the photos don't show are the few cows on the property. I was a little surprised but in a good way! The host is extremely friendly and inviting. It's a very beautiful property to visit. 10/10!'

'You can actually hear yourself think out in this cabin. The view is amazing and there is wildlife to watch (take binocullars) If you need to get away from all the over stimulation of your life get this cabin, It is not close to anything so take what you really need and enjoy. We drive probably 20 minutes to a small town and had some good food take out but honestly we couldnt wait to get back, I suffer from insomnia and I listened to tree frogs and crickets and slept better than I had in years....
