'We road our motorcycles into camp. It was a cute cabin, nice and toasty gas fireplace. There were showers available in the main lodge building. We walked from the cabin down to the beach for a lovely sunset. The trail was wet and mosquitoes plenty but part of the wilderness experience. Once you get to the beach then bugs aren't a problem.'

'Except for the weather and the ticks, I had a great three days! The cabins are perfect for a private retreat to do a lot of reading. The hikes to the shore of Lake Superior were well worth it. Awesome displays of God's power shown as storms roll in out on the Lake.'

'Nice place, clean and quiet. If your going to atv though the access isnt quite set up for a 1 ton diesel truck and an enclosed atv trailer. We did see a bull moose on the trip which was our goal way in the backcountry.'

'This cabin ia perfect as a step away from the busyness of life and the Twin Cities metro area. We explored every day with a perfect "homey" feel to refresh and relax after exploring the North Shore each day of our stay. The owners were right on top of things after a crazy rain storm on our last night. I recommend this property and we will definitely return again.'

'Staying at Amnicon allowed my kids to have a taste of camping but still able to sleep in a bed. We used the cabin as a base and did day trips around the north shore. The camp was quiet and clean. We had a great trip.'

'Property was great and well maintained. Centrally located on the North Shore. Worked great for our daily excursions to the many hikes, waterfalls, and Grand Marais. Our 3 kids (ages 5-8) loved it! We will absolutely recommend.'

'We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. 'Everything from the firepit to the comfort of the beds alwas perfect for this stay! The cabin is such a warm rustic decor yet updated and perfectly clean. Nathan and Collen could not have been better host and went above and beyond in our stay. I very much would suggest this for a stay on the north shore.'

'We have been staying at Heather's cabin annually for several years. The cabin is so quiet and peaceful with amazing views of the lake. It's a great place to recharge and refresh, and time in the sauna is a nice bonus!'

'This cabin was perfect for our stay, close to Gooseberry Falls and not too far from restaurants and Two Harbors. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Spacious, and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, with that said, the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds leave much to be desired. 'We enjoyed an extended weekend at this cabin, which was clean, bright, and welcoming. Great landing space to explore along Lake Superior's north shore. The driveway does go uphill from Hwy 61 with one steep spot after a narrow bridge -- otherwise all as expected.'

'This was a quiet, very nicely decorated and stocked place! It was easy to get into and furnished nicely. The only problem we had was it had stormed and the internet was down. It is like a fourplex with a fire pit and sauna and nice window views. The caretaker took good care of us. We would come back again!'

'My husband and I stayed in order to do some biking along the Gitchi Gami state bike trail. The location was perfect! right across the street we were able to hop on the trail.
