'Place is beautiful, our host Ashley was great. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the lack of curtains on three of the windows, and there was at least one(possibly more we couldn’t see) camera on the deck pointed inside the cabin that had view of the bathroom and kitchen area. If there were curtains on that window it would be a non-issue'

'Nicely situated just north of Aviemore, there is a small village shop/Post Office not far away in Deshar Road, but if you need a large shop of groceries then Aviemore is only minutes away. The accommodation is very good with a double bedroom with en suite and a dressing area and a second twin bedroom opposite the family bathroom. There is a HD satellite tv in the living area with a supply of dvds to watch. The owner kindly allows the use of their own pedal cycles, which were perfect for a ride...

'Our family enjoyed having a home to stay in after visiting Yosemite. The home exceeded our expectations! Plenty of space, comfortable beds, easy check in process. Parking costs are something to factor in (50) to your stay. Hope to return!'

'We used this house as our home-base for visiting Yosemite this summer. It's a great house with plenty of space and all amenities you need. We loved the fact is has a swimming lake as well. Our start was a bit clumsy since the cleaning lady was not finished with cleaning the house when we arrived and left it unfinished as she needed to fix her broken car. But the overall experience was great. Highly recommended!'

'we have stayed 4 nights and could stay longer if we had a time. The challet is in a great location, less than an hour from Yosemite valley, Hetch Hetchy dam or Sonora, but in a very quite location at the end of a road. You can get there easily, just go to the end of paved Hells Hollow road and then keep straight on the dirt road until you reach 2111 and the gate. Just drive very slowly on the dirt road especially at the times when is so dry and hot like now as driving fast gets a lot of dust in...
