Blokhutten in Tuscumbia

'Best little wilderness stay I think I've ever had.....secluded from traffic....no city noise....host were very kind and sociable....planning on going there again and again'

'This place is a gem. The cabin was meticulously appointed. Everything looks as though it’s brand new. I would put this host in the top 1% of those I have encountered. They communicated well and proactively. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Not to mention that they’re just nice people. I even knocked off a bucket list item by catching my first gar here. I would definitely stay here again.'

'Owners were great. Rooms very clean. We’ll definitely be back'

'Dark and creepy if you’re a single female staying alone. Shower and toilet are a short distance to walk to at night with minimal light. The owners are on site which was comforting to know after realizing who the random lady was that in fact scared the heck out of my guest by beating on the window of their vehicle. Overall not extremely terrible but probably wouldn’t stay there again.. '

'Wonderful place to stay! Cozy cabin with really neat decor and an old time theme! Hosts were great and accommodating! Truly enjoyed our stay!'

'Really enjoyed my stay. I was not expecting the view of the cove, which was fantastic. Would like to stay there again in the future.'

'This cabin was the perfect little spot for a weekend. All of the amenities down by the water (picnic tables, floaties, extra chairs) and the nice appliances inside (pans, knife set, plenty of extra blankets, gas grill) made it easy to pack light and still have a very pleasant trip.'

'Very friendly and helpful'

'I did not realize the room was adjacent to other rooms I thought it was by itself. I could not tell but I also did not ask although not sure how I can ask ahead of time. It was not obvious to me based on pictures but I may not have seen them all. It was a minor thing. I could not figure out how to lower the heat temp on the wall unit with the remote but again I forgot to ask until we were leaving but again very minor. The host told me about the mennonite community nearby and how to get there and...

'Such a beautiful property! The house is so cute and had plenty of space for my family of 5. The views from the decks are amazing and the area you have for swimming in the lake is like its own little private cove. Communication with host was super easy. Pools on the resort were a nice additional option. We had our dog along, just a note the property is all stones, no grass, that was an adjustment for our dog but was fine. Plenty of safe road to walk with him along instead.'

'Great little cabin that was very comfortable. It was exactly what I was looking for and the customer service was outstanding.'
