First the prosIt’s a lovely unit with cute design and furnishings, well appointed with most of what you need, the deck is a nice place to sit and relax, my family that came over enjoyed fishing and caught bluegill, catfish, bass, and the occasional turtle.The Not so Great Every time I have rented a VRBO, I have received specific instructions from the host, usually 24 hours before check in. This host doesn’t communicate well, I had to text for the house code a few hours before arriving, there was no Wi-Fi info anywhere so I had to message them for that.All the windows were unlocked and were difficult to lock. This place is out in the woods so expect bugs outside, but the amount of gnats in the bathroom is like using a campground toilet. There was a tree service cutting down a few large trees next door for 3 days, on the last day of the tree service they were cutting down a tree that was very close to the home we were in and we woke up to things falling on the house, the neighbor said it was supposed to be done the week before, the owner showed up and sat in her car in driveway to watch, her neighbor sent her pictures she told my husband when he went out to see who it was. It was quite frustrating during a vacation and we would’ve picked somewhere else to stay if we were made aware of tree service. The bed in the room with fireplace is so firm it is painful to sleep on and could benefit from a mattress topper. I don’t know about the other room, we didn’t use it.
