'Based on the rating we had a higher expectation. Hospitality is not sincere, limited English and hotel was focused on high volume instead of cusomized service. During our stay of 3 nights we had about 50 plus schoolchildren making music untill 3 at night and running over the corridors smashing doors. 'Staff super friendly. Laundry cheap and fast. Luggage storage. After we checked out we went kayaking and when we returned to collect our bags we were offered a room and towels to get showers and changed. Excellent service. Thank you. '

'Booked a family room for 2 nights, and actually was suprised how good the room was! A lot of space, nice bed (blanket is only a no for me, not really soft), bathroom is also big. 'Comfortable hotel near Cat Ba town, with good views of the bay, and out of sight of the building work in town. We had a one night stay before a boat trip on Lan Ha and Halong Bays. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, effective Aircon, and comfortable bed, although slightly limited choice of nearby restaurants.'

'Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water. The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work. '

'Jenny nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de chaleur et de gentillesse. L'hôtel est bien situé, au bord du lac. Malheureusement, les abords de ce lac sont en travaux. D'ailleurs, l'ancienne plage est totalement en travaux également... Construction de nouveaux bâtiments sur du terrain gagnés sur la mer. Enfin cela n'a absolument pas gâché notre séjour.
