'The cabin overall was ok, the location is excellent though. Reasonably close to major hiking areas and state parks as well as Chattanooga. The cabin is well designed but I felt that esthetics are higher valued than functionality. We stayed for a week as a family of 4 and noticed there are not enough or big enough pots and pans to make basic meals, no hangers or wall hooks of any sort to provide space for clothing and no storage for any luggage pieces. 'We loved our stay at deer lick falls! It was a nice home away from home. It was nice to have the amenities such as a stove, oven, grill and a washing machine and dryer. We traveled with two children and anyone that knows these are a must! I was however disappointed that the “kids play area” was indeed not in the area we stayed.
