'Overall very positive experience, reception staff were very attentive and went out of the way to accommodate our earlier check-in. The room was really nice and clean, and we ended up staying in the hotel which was a bonus! Breakfast staff, particularly on Sunday morning, unfortunately did let the staff down, as they came across quite rude and unfriendly. '

'When we arrived at 20:30 we were told that the kitchen was closed and no room service available either. So we had to order take out and have it delivered to the room. The room itself was ok, except the bathroom was very old and very small. The room was too hot with no option to turn on AC or shut down the heating. View over the lake was very nice. '

'Everything perfect: very friendly lady, beautiful charming hotel and room, location. 2 min walk to the river with all the bars. Reasonable price. We've travelled through Switzerland for a week and this was by far the most beautiful place to stay. Lucern is lovely as well.'

'Cons: the bedsheets were not 'smooth' anymore. They should be renewed. Lots of mosquitoes. No airconditioning, it was warm, could not sleep with door open because of the mosquitoes. When it's colder outside the temperature in the room is acceptable. Pros: Enough free parking. Clean room, unfortunately no standard room cleaning everyday, so no clean towels, although you could request for it. Friendly personnel at the restaurant. 'Our favourite hostel we've stayed at in Switzerland. The room was a little small however, the use of space was great. A great shower, decorations, a good atmosphere, stress free self check in, comfortable bed and sweet staff really made our experience a 10/10. The train station is a short 12 minute walk aswell as some attrations and shops being located close by. The common room offers enough space to work and chill. Free coffee with different milk options. Would highly recommend and stay at...
