Trombetta Canyon Natural Area Preserve

Dirty, no elevator, took pleading to get a room on 1st floor. Breakfast was very lacking for healthy choices. Plumbing and facet handles seem to be barely on and very loose. TV cables were not even close to being hooked up right, but I was able to work around that one.

The place is quite run down and had a distinct musty smell to the room. The building is in a definite need of renovations. On the upside, the breakfast vouchers for Dennys was a nice touch.

Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and good rooms. For this price point I would expect breakfast to be included but instead there are hidden costs like a parking fee and an 'Amenity Fee'. The latter is really hidden and compulsory. For a whopping $20/day one gets things that should be included for free, like a bottle of water and coffee in the room. Also access to the swimming pool and wellness are included but if you're not going to use them the hotel still expects you to pay for it. Very unfair and imho just a way to make more money off its customers. Too bad as it's a nice hotel near Riverfront park and the center of the city but I will not be staying there anymore until they get rid of this crazy 'Amenity Fee'!
