As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances and utensils to whip up delectable meals. We loved this cottage and our stay there. Its a beautiful, cozy, cute house with everything you need for a lovely stay. Nikki ‘s attention to detail and folder with lots of info on the area and house are wonderful. And the bed was heavenly! Great location for visiting the redwoods.

House was immaculate, had everything in kitchen you could want. Dehumidifier and air purifier really made for fresh interior. Neighbors are very close, but friendly and very quiet. We didn’t bring our dog, but loved the fact that dogs were welcomed and a towel and bowl were ready. High end shampoo and bathroom area. In great proximity to redwoods, but disconnected from the town of Trinidad.

Amazing getaway cottage!

We had such a nice stay in this cozy little cottage. Everything was exactly as described and it was so clean and comfortable. We were traveling with our dogs and the fully fenced yard made things very easy. The setting is quiet and beautiful. The owner/manager provided great information for checking in and operating things around the house. There was information on local eateries and activities as well. We felt so at home during our stay. Also, it's just a couple of minutes from my all-time favorite-Moonstone Beach. We will definitely be back again.

This location was a great find. It's right next to 101 N/S on ramps, very close to dog friendly beaches, and not too far from any store you need in town. Private, fenced yard was a huge plus for the dogs.

Best place to stay in Humbolt area!

Rock Rose Cottage absolutely provides a "lavish and intimate" environment. My husband and I have stayed in other places along the Humbolt coast and this cottage is the one we look forward to returning to again and again. It's simply gorgeous - everything - from top to bottom. The location offers easy access not only to town, but both north and south coastal AND redwood areas. Nikki, the host is generous and attentive. The only downside was leaving!

Our stay was GREAT! I highly recommend this for a couple with a dog. The hostess was remarkable with her communication. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Upon our arrival the cabin had a refreshing smell, was clean and a light was left on for us, giving it that lil etra touch of a "Welcome Home Feeling". The extra touches for the doggie was truely appreciated, dog bowls for food and water, a basket with doggie poop bags and a doggie cloth really made a dog welcome special too. We appreciated the convenience of a washer and dryer. Thank you for a great stay

West Haven Cottage

The cottage was just as we expected. The proximity to the beach was awesome, less than5 minutes by car and if you are adventurous, a 10 minute hike/walk to the Houda Point Beach and Camel Rock. Stunning sunsets! Nikki is great to work with, a prompt communicator and was very accommodating. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.

I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!
