'There were stains on the sheets of the bed. We were expecting more bang for our buck as people were vaping everywhere and things were dirty. I mean, we couldn’t even get ping-pong balls for the ping-pong table, and I certainly didn’t feel that it was near as clean as the price we had to pay.'

'My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay. Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink. Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by. The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay. '

'I didn’t plan to comment on the negativities I experienced at this resort because it wasn’t horrible, just disappointing that it was misrepresented online. I moved past that and chalked it up to not reading enough reviews, which was my fault. Until…we called and requested a later checkout on Sunday and were told they weren’t allowing those that certain weekend because they were fully booked. The vacancy sign was on all weekend. Let that go. But then…housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:40am...

'Well, the room was nice, great view…however, hot water was hard to come by…shower was cool/luke warm for 2 days…no answer from the office, the phone rings, then tells you there’s no one answering. I had to go to the office and tell them about the situation (and my tv remote had dead batteries). About 2 hours later, a custodian arrived with my batteries…no mention of lack of hot water on his sheet. Other than that, which was remedied on day 3 of 5, the room had all the amenities of a kitchen,...
