Everything begins with George and his staff. Before we arrived he contacted us and arranged transfer from the airport. He met us by the city wall in the hotel buggy and brought us to the hotel. After settling in he suggested restaurants, bars, trips and places to visit. Each day he helped with any queries, asked if we needed help and suggested possible activities. Breakfast filled us until late afternoon. A range of drinks, fruit, yogurt, pancakes and waffles on offer each day. The hotel is kept clean, rooms serviced and staff work without noticing them. Being in the old town you have so many good restaurants near by, serving very good food and excellent service. Some even have outside heaters; so necessary when the sun goes down. The bus service around the island is cheap and frequent. A boat trip to Symi was a good day spent relaxing and enjoying Greek culture. If you visit Lindos, other than the Acropolis visit the beach and enjoy lunch at Alex taverna. Fresh fish with a Greek salad was wonderful. Ever the perfect host , George sourced some olive oil from a local producer to take home as gifts and as a reminder of a brilliant holiday. Thank you George and staff for a super time.
