The cabin is surrounded by a natural wooded environment. Wildlife, insects, pollen, falling leaves, and changing mountain weather are normal parts of the Smoky Mountain experience.

Black bears are common throughout the Smokies. If you see one, never approach or feed it and remain at least 50 yards away. Do not leave food, coolers, pet food, or trash outdoors. Keep all garbage in the designated secured container, and keep vehicle doors locked with no food or trash left inside.
