« The Dexter will be nice once they get all of the construction done; address the hot water issues, and maybe add a chair to the room and perhaps a floor lamp, as well. In addition, they have the tiniest rolls of toilet paper with no extras available in the room, and they hardly had any shower gel in the bottle to use. Parking is at a premium- especially with all of the contractor trucks using available spots. It is a minimalist style boutique hotel. You will not talk to a front desk person after...

« This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again. »

« Great classic house with lots of space to sprawl in a small town. Very relaxing. Good restaurants and grocery within 2 blocks. »

« The room was too small especially when sofa bed was extended: there was barely any room to navigate or out our luggages. Toilet paper and Kleenex ran out during our stay. The frying pan was in terrible shape. »

« I stayed with my wife for 2 nights in early July and we were very pleased with the Inn and the room. Great sunsets from the beach over the East Bay. They get the little details right: cookies in the reception, a welcome note, a night light in the bathroom, steamer instead of an iron, easy parking on site. »

« overall the property was decent. The complimentary breakfast was good. hot pancakes and eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy all cooked. self serve breakfast included cereal and oatmeal. coffee, milk and juice. the pool was nice, unfortunately, the hot tub was not working at the time. we were about 5 miles away from downtown Traverse City. there were a lot of restaurants that were close by. »
