Ceci est le parfait sortir. Profitez de ce cadre paisible privĂ© avec de belles vues Ă  longue distance. Cette propriĂ©tĂ© a une belle Ă©lĂ©vation qui garde au frais durant les mois chauds de l'Ă©tĂ©. Tout ce dont vous aurez besoin est au bout de vos doigts. Il est vraiment une maison loin de la maison. DĂ©tendez-vous dans le bain Ă  remous ou faire une promenade dans la nature sur plusieurs sentiers de la tĂȘte du haut de cette propriĂ©tĂ© ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre dans les chaises berçantes sur le porche et profiter de la vue. Vous pouvez voir un cerf errants viennent en flĂąnant. DĂźnez Ă  l'intĂ©rieur ou Ă  l'extĂ©rieur avec une grande table Ă  proximitĂ© de pique-nique et un foyer avec des siĂšges tout autour. Il ya beaucoup Ă  faire, notamment du rafting et de pĂȘche Ă  la mouche Ă  la proximitĂ© de la riviĂšre ou la navigation de plaisance sur le lac. Ceci est un vĂ©ritable chalet construit et peut accueillir six facilement. Il dispose d'un poĂȘle Ă  bois avec des plinthes chauffantes, TV, cuisine complĂšte, tĂ©lĂ©phone, sur la grille de la porte et tous les conforts de la maison, juste arrĂȘter au magasin sur votre chemin dans l'Ă©picerie. This cabin was absolutely wonderful!! We LOVED it!!Getting into and up the driveway was an adventure within itself! I laughed all the way up every time! The views were gorgeous! Loved the drives through the mountains! It was better than I had hoped for, far exceeded my expectations. Dan was very kind the few times we spoke. I hope to come back!!!

Getting lost cabin getaway

The Cabin was perfect. Clean and stocked with some essentials. Firewood available for the fire place and fire pit. Be prepared to get groceries before you arrive as this cabin is very remote. We had no cell service for 8 miles surrounding the cabin. Getting inside was a little difficult as the key pad didn’t work and no cell service. We had to drive back out many miles to call and get the key code. Owners were wonderful. If you want to get off the grid and get away, this is your place.

A break from chemo to a wonderful mountain cabin

My mother has fought cancer for the last few years. This year it came back in her lungs. She took a couple of weeks off from treatment to give her body a break and relax. This cabin provided the most perfect place for her to rest and enjoy the mountain air. Not to mention my father and I are lovers of the mountains as well. Dan and Shayla were the perfect hosts, great commutation and very kind. The cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. We had a fabulous stay.

Hidden gem

My soon to be and I stayed four days at this beautiful and quite hidden mountaintop cabin with the intent of searching nearby areas to get married and hopefully eventually move to. That being said,we did not get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would have Liked. The limited time we were there was absolutely beautiful

Old reliable

We have stayed here mutiple times. If your looking for simple, peace, and privacy this is your place. Very easy to work with owners whom always are open for questions. Dont freak out with no AC. I am a florida boy and several years ago I stayed in the summer and saw no AC. Just open the windows and let the mountain do its job. They have a few fans and its more than comfortable in the evenings. Prettiest road in western NC is Wayah road which you take if going west off the mountain. Bryson city, Murphy, Cherokee, Franklin, Dillsboro is all relatively close. Great cabin!

Sweet serenity

My family and I enjoyed this private little cabin very much. It gave us some wholesome experiences and wonderful memories to treasure! It was truly beautiful and peaceful! The location of this cabin is perfect. Groceries are 25 minutes away and horseback riding, awesome hiking trails (e.g., Wesser Bald), and whitewater rafting are 15 to 30 minutes away. The owner was responsive when contacted and was kind to provide plenty of towels, soap, paper items, cleaning supplies, and so on so we didn't need to purchase such items. You will need charcoal for the grill, but the cabin is stocked with the rest of the essentials (e.g., pans, plates, cups, etc.). There was some dust built up in some areas, but the cabin was mostly clean. There is no AC, but the air was cool enough. The driveway can be a little nerve racking, even for people like us who have years of experience with challenging mountain roads. We were informed by a local fireman that he has had to rescue people on the driveway, mostly in the winter, who tried backing up on the driveway and drove off the side of the mountain. So, if you choose this gem of a cabin, do not back up and do not try to park at the barn. Stay to the left, keep driving until you find the cabin, and maybe consider bringing an AWD or 4WD vehicle (I can't imagine trying to drive to the cabin in the winter without AWD/4WD). The driveway takes about three-and-a-half minutes to navigate at a safe speed (two-and-a-half once you get the hang of it).

Perfect for peace, quiet, and seclusion

My wife and I were looking for a place to have a quiet and secluded retreat to celebrate our 30th anniversary. This was the perfect place for just that! The location is very remote, yet also close to many hiking trails, and other outdoor activities. We went to dinner in Bryson City one evening, which was not too far away. The cabin is very clean and stocked with plenty of dishes, small appliances, linens, towels, blankets, etc. All major appliances were in great working condition. The TV's in the living areas and bedroom are hooked up with DirectTV, but they were rarely used as we spent most of the time on the porch soaking in the amazing views and listening to the chattering birds. The hot tub was in perfect working condition and was greatly appreciated after a morning of hiking and for an evening soak. We were nervous about the driveway at first based on other reviews, but our Odyssey minivan made it up with no problems. Put it in low gear, take it slow and easy, and enjoy the climb as it takes you deeper and deeper into the woods with a wonderful refuge at the top of the road. It was easy and fun each time we traversed it after that! It is difficult to put into words the feelings of isolation, peace and calm that we felt during our stay. We didn't want to leave and we definitely want to return. If you are looking for a place to escape the stress of everyday life and relax surrounded by nature’s peace and quiet, this is the place!

Home Away From Home

This property has now become our favorite. Coming from a busy area in Florida all we wanted was peace and quiet and this quaint cabin gave us just that. Dan was the perfect host checking in on us and providing us places to eat in town and making sure we stopped at the grocery store before we drove to the cabin. The drive into the cabin was epic and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend. Even my teenager daughter had a great time.

Slice of heaven

We really enjoyed this beautiful cabin. If you want to take a step away from your busy everyday life this is the place to stay. We loved everything about it from the hot tube to the fire pit❀ The views are breathtaking! We have never stayed in a place so tucked away. The owners are very nice and attentive. Spectacular Cabin

Shayla and Dan were amazing hosts, available to answer any questions I had and provided great information about the cabin once we arrived. The pictures really don’t do this cabin justice. Gorgeous views and literally everything we needed was available to us. It was the most peaceful away from everything trip we’ve ever been able to find. A absolute pleasure to wind down with only the distraction of birds and squirrels.
