We enjoyed the view and time spent on the wrap-around porch when the sun was out and the covered porch to listen to the rain and enjoy the string of lights in the evening. 'We loved being in the woods and in the mountains. My boyfriend absolutely loves the country out there he loves the mom and pop restaurants we loved everything about it had a wonderful time while we were there to visit and site see all the waterfalls. So beautiful if you love the country, mountains, site seeing/hiking, country cooking, mom and pop shops and somewhere with no service this is the perfect place!!!'

'Precious cabin for two! Beautiful drive on winding road along and over the White Oak Creek with views of the mountains forest and water falls. Lots of outdoor recreation activities. I booked white water rafting on the Nantahala in the morning and zip lining in the mountain forest in the afternoon! The fully equipped kitchenette was perfect for quick morning breakfast. 'My kids had a blast playing on the river all day!! We only stayed for 3 nights, but I'll definitely come back for longer next time!! I did check out early on a Sunday, so I brought the trash to the recycling center Saturday before they closed, a slight inconvenience, but I would'nt ding them for that.'

'The cottage was amazing overall. Everything from the epic views, the decorations and cleanliness all set this place apart from your average rental. The owners were easily reachable but maintained strict privacy. Instructions for arrival and departure were very clear and easy to follow. We hope to be able to start here again when we come back for more nature as there is so much to do close by. Our son loved the on-site creek and the nearby gem mines and waterfalls.'

'Well maintained Property, fully equipped right down to a garlic press and a funnel. Everything operational and in good working order. Secluded, but only 15 minutes from down Town. Wifi was excellent. Din’t watch TV so can’t comment other that to note there was one in the living room and in each bedroom. Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, we hope to be back next year'

'We had a great week at this cabin! Easily accessible just off the valley floor! Clean and perfect for us! The spiral steps can be a little difficult to navigate but not too bad. One bedroom on the main level was convenient. '

'Perfect home for a 3 generation stay. The creek was great for the kids to play in and explore. Owner provided tons of information and we loved finding the waterfall and swimming hole within walking distance. '
