« Very nice and relaxing stay »

« Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!! »

« Très petite chambre remplie d’objets vintage inutiles. Pas de télécommande de tv , chauffage très bruyant se déclanchant régulièrement, pas de chauffage ni de ventilation dans la salle de bien très ancienne. »

« Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet »

« Helpful & friendly staff. Good location for exploring the area. Clean and welcoming. Didn’t enjoy the breakfast. Not to my taste. »

« This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it! »

« Good stay but too few electrical outlets »

« Very good for a decent night's sleep. »

« The property has had a minor facelift and is in good condition. There is limited parking. We arrived late and got the very last spot in the lot. It was a hot day and the room was very warm when we arrived. My husband turned the air conditioner on high. It never got very cold, so if you’re a hot sleeper, you may not enjoy a stay here. The room was in decent shape. Could probably do with a thorough wipe down, but the beds were clean. We only spent one night because of travel plans. The...

« Nice and clean, the staff were very sweet and considerate. I slept like a baby. So peaceful. »

« Beautiful property in the mountains! Tim, the innkeeper, was amazing. Would visit again! »

« All good things to say about these little cabins. »

« We had never stayed in a yurt before and were pleasantly surprised about how nice and spacious everything is. The yurt itself is so fun and immaculate, it had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, just far enough off the beaten path but close to restaurants, beautiful Nantahala lake and the NOC. The creek beside the house was wonderful for fishing and just sitting and listening. We used the hot tub several times and it was clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfy as...

« Best place ever, the view is amazing the cabin is beautiful. »

« This is our new favorite vacation rental in the mountains. Very quiet except for the tranquil noise of the gorgeous creek that will put you to sleep. Peaceful, clean plenty of places to explore or cook your own meals. Host was very responsive. »

« We had a great time, we enjoyed hearing the river flow as we sat outside by the fire. Seeing the fireflies come up from the ground each evening was magical. It was so peaceful and quiet. We went to celebrate our anniversary and throughly enjoyed ourselves and the town of Highlands. We’ll definitely be back. »
