Ligging is zoals aangegeven zo'n 15 minuten lopen vanaf station Shin-Osaka, of met de shuttle-bus. Ontbijt is prima maar het kan erg druk zijn. 'Fijn hotel in de buurt van Shin-Osaka station. Het hotel ligt op 10 minuten loopafstand van het station. Metro en Hankyu line liggen nog iets dichterbij. Het hotel ziet er als nieuw uit. De kamer is voor Japanse begrippen normaal, dus aan de kleine kant. Maar het is wel efficiënt ingericht. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Tevens spreekt men Engels. Ik heb geen nadelen gevonden. '

'Astil is a quiet and very comfortable hotel. Very close to train station. Note that you shall take the local train. The others do not stop. For Kyoto and Kobe you go one stop to Juso sration and transfer. The best way to go from airports is airportbus to Umeda and then train. The rooms do not have bathtubes since the hotel has a nice onsen bath. If you like med do have tattos you are not able to use the bath. That is common practice in Japan and has nothing to do with the hotel. I...

'Een erg plezierig hotel. Uitstekend gelegen vlakbij metrolijn naar centraal Osaka en de monorail naar vliegveld Osaka. Beide voorzieningen liggen in een winkelcentrum met een goed aanbod aan restaurants en winkels, inclusief een supermarkt. Hotel viert dit jaar 45 jaar bestaan maar ziet er nog steeds goed onderhouden uit. Is ruim van opzet. '
