'What a lovely place to stay! Darren and Karen are marvellous hosts, couldn't do enough to make our visit truly memorable. And the breakfasts were delicious, as well as superbly served. The view over the bay, and the local wildlife enjoying their breakfasts outside the window, added an extra charm ... Coupled to a superb restaurant at the hotel next door, not to mention the magnificent scenery and history of the area, we couldn't have found a more ideal place for a short holiday. '

'Grand old guesthouse set in a beautiful location right on the water front. Walking distance to local amenities too. Great customer service from the owner. 'Lovely boutique hotel on the shore of Loch Goil. Comfortable bed, nice bath and shower and AMAZING views from our room. What really makes this place so special are the owners - Billy and Liz (and their dog Watson). They are amazing hosts and lovely people. They really made our stay special. Thank you!!'

'Our stay in this hotel was superb! Our host Allan is a wonderful, helpful and informative host at hand to answer any questions regarding the island and surrounding areas. Breakfast is prompt, plentiful and delicious with a good menu to choose from. The rooms are all well appointed, superbly clean and comfortable. We will stay at this Guest House again!'

'Truly outstanding for accommodation service and especially the food. Normally I would never consider a B&B as I like the independence of a top class hotel but Stephanie and Adrian quickly made me feel totally at home. A pure delight of a place with superb breakfast and dinner. Also little things like suddenly jasmine tea suddenly being available when I had simply asked if they had any on the previous day. A real sense of making your stay as perfect as possible. '

'loved our stay here, clean, friendly & helpful. Chloe was lovely, we had no issues here at all. Location was perfect, just a short walk into town, my husband has COPD, So we wanted something local and it was, just a 5minute walk. Would definitely book here again. 'I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.'

'I booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. 'Leuk huisje. Misschien niet zo geschikt voor 7 nachten. Er is veel verkeer en dat begint op den duur wel vervelend te worden. Ook de stalling van de veerboten achter het huisje was wat storend. 2 handdoeken voor 7 nachten vonden we wel wat weinig... Het servies in de kastjes was best wel groezelig. Het huisje is lekker ruim met een woonkeuken een woon/eetkamer en een slaap kamer. Schitterend uitzicht door de ramen. Er was een klein zitje buiten op de pier. Met een aardig uitzicht.'
