'We loved the cuteness of this tiny cabin. Two things stood out to us. Having the new memory foam mattresses; using slats rather than a full sheet of plywood can be uncomfortable. 'Excellent little getaway spot! The cabin is adorable, well-decorated, and well stocked with offline activities. The little AC unit really puts in work and we were never sweaty. The location does a great job of placing you in a perfect viewing location for birds, turtles, and butterflies. We were able to walk over to the winery fairly easily.'

'We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
