Blokhutten in Three Rivers

'De cottage is oud en vies en wordt voor veel te veel geld te huur aangeboden. Toe aan een grondige renovatie. Geen mogelijkheid om fatsoenlijk buiten te zitten (oud en kapot meubilair en afgebroken veranda), nauwelijks ingerichte keuken en het huis is niet goed schoongemaakt. Veel lawaai van de doorgaande weg, waar de cottag direct aan ligt. Veel bouwmaterialen slingeren over het terrein. Grote afrader, er zijn veel mooiere motels, hotels en Cabins in de buurt te huur.'

'I took a trip to see the giant forest and this was the perfect spot to stay if you are looking to see the big trees…🌲🌲🌲 I don’t suggest making this drive at night or in the dark.'

'We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!'

'It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views.'

'Nice place to sit on the porch and watch the birds and wildlife. Cabin is very cold as far as touches, cookware very old, few utensils, nothing else. Bed is good. Outside is great.'

We wanted to spend Christmas away from home and Martin’s Cabin was a home away from home inside and outside. We even had a nice Christmas tree waiting for us upon arrival. 'This is the best place we have been till date around Sequoia and we loved it. The host was wonderful and the cabin has everything that you need and more. The host was kind enough to keep some food as a backup as places close early around. They checked-in with us incase we need anything throughout the stay. All EV car people, yes there is a 110 outlet outside if you need provided you have the adapters. We would definitely come back here as this feels like our perfect vacation home around that...

'After hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia for six days, we were very excited to soak in the hot tub on this property. Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. That was very disappointing as the inside of the home was pristine and very comfortable.'

'We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited. 'Our time in Three Rivers was great. We visited Sequoia 3 times and Yosemite once. We ate local as often as possible and enjoyed the view from the back porch. Great Memories made.'
