The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. « nice new construction—ours was more of an intimate studio-type layout; large bed overlooked the living room with an electric fireplace/heater and TV—the kitchen was moderately stocked with enough cookware to meal prep (oil, honey, and spices came in handy); the Keurig coffee/tea was convenient; the owner was responsive on the vrbo app and text when we had a little power outage—it was close to town and a short direct drive into the park, and the grounds were very clean. »

« I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. « We had a comfortable and great stay at Sequoia Motel for the Christmas weekend with our pup! The rooms are labeled and parking is right in front of the rooms. Keypad is on the door. Everything was clean, appreciated the keurig dual pods/coffee pot and extra mugs and microwave and mini fridge/freezer. Make sure you bring water for your coffee/hot cocoa/tea needs. Bed was comfortable and we slept well after full days of adventures in Sequoia. Customer Service was pleasant through VRBO...

« The place was exactly as listed, kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. Easy parking and access to load/unload. Quiet and fun watching the wild turkeys roam around. »

« The room was cute and the pictures at booking made the room look promising. However, we realized the remodel must have happen a few years ago as there was some maintenance issues the room is in need of in the small bathroom. The air conditioner almost cooled the room as the summer heat came in thru door that wasn’t sealed all the way. Our relatives stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and that was lovely! »
