'Did not know what to expect upon arrival but was pleased to find our own little apartment in this very modern building … loved the kitchen and availability of the in unit laundry. Only complaint I could say is no hair dryer (4 girls) and one night there was an alarm prompting evacuation in the middle of the morning but all in all had a very enjoyable experience '

'Overgeprijst hotel. Des Moines downtown stelt niets voor. Straten zijn na 18.00 uitgestorven. Voor wat betreft de services die je krijgt ligt de prijs van dit hotel 25% te hoog. Persoonlijke ervaring: mijn boeking was inclusief ontbijt, op de eindafrekening stond toch het ontbijt afgerekend. Tot op dit moment geen reactie hierop gekregen van het hotel. Zou er niet meer naar toe gaan. Tip: probeer een hotel in West Demoins te vinden. Meer levendigheid en met auto is centrum makkelijk binnen 15...

'This is a wonderful hotel. I imagine it could be quite busy when they host a conference, but it is very quiet otherwise. There is a large pool (9 ft is practically unheard of in most hotels), a rec room, and a large gym. The breakfast area is ample and there was a wide selection (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits + gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, and toast.)'

'Prompt friendly checkin/ room was clean stocked garbage emotied bed made etc great housekeeping staff loved that we could walk next door n visit where relatives were staying/ loved the warm pool n hot tub Lots of food choices close by/ beds were comfy room was very nice had breakfast which was nice/ very nice stay 10!!!!!'

'I have spend two night at this hotel. Service was good, friendly personnel. The hotel is quite old and can use some renovation. Beds are OK but the bathroom is old. Heating system makes a lot of noise and you can't turn it off. Fitness center has old equipment and it was damaged. The steakhouse is great and cozy. Good food for a good price. Breakfast is also great. Overall a good stay, probably one of the better hotels close to DSM airport. Very close to the interstate!'

'We enjoyed our stay! Very quiet and nice. We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit and meeting other guests at the hotel. The area around the hotel is very nice with a variety of different shops. We will stay there again when in the Des Moines area.'
