' Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified.'

'Ideal for a stay in the Adelaide hills and still close to the city. We stayed in a heritage room that had been very tastefully updated, great bed, bathroom is huge with full size bath & heated floor, a nice balcony. Guest breakfast room always had coffee and condiments. In all a very nice stay, we’ll be back.'

'Called reception before staying as I wanted to clarify the room size ( the Expedia site said 3m sq) - no answer and no call back. I booked anyway. Reception staff member was fine, however the room was not. Dining table sticky with something - lucky I had antiseptic wipes. The bathroom had glue stuck to the floor in multiple areas and the toilet had yellow residue around the rim and a broken toilet seat. 'Poorly managed property - they'll be in touch like clockwork to get your security deposit payment then don't deliver details of how to pickup keys come check-in time. After a few call attempts they blamed it on the cleaner "forgetting" to put the key in the lock box. We were greeted with dirty dishes from the last guest and our request for a 3rd bed not fulfilled. They told me that I forgot to put that request into them... funny considering I have it clearly noted on their confirmation email...

'Looking at it outside smashed windows, very old looking needing some tlc but wait till you try to sleep toilet ran all night, walls windows are not sound proof can hear the music banging all night from nearby bars and clubs last night went from 10pm to 6am then the street cleaning started would never stay there again '

'Great for visiting Hahndorf as it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable room. '

We haven’t stayed in Adelaide before so nothing to compare with but it seemed expensive for what we got. '
