Great proximity to Skibowl and tubing and ton of pubs and cafes, enough wooded privacy to feel like your secluded in the woods. We hope to return again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.'

'A very charming cabin with a neat family history. The house been decorated and renovated tastefully. It was perfect for a short getaway from Portland. My favorite things about the house... The upstairs bedroom and its view of the big cathedral window and the red lift chair. A rustic and small but a well equipped kitchen. I was able to cook every meal comfotably (we didnt eat out) and that is usually not possible in a rental. The layout of the main floor was perfect for my husband and our teenage...

'The cabin was incredible! Very comfortable, clean and cozy. It was exactly what are family needed for a quick getaway. We stayed through new years weekend, walking distance to local shops and restaurants. We’d love to stay again in the future. Perfect for our little family.'

It's clean, cozy, well appointed and very spacious! 5 bedrooms with 3 full baths, located at the end of long driveway, right near hiking trails and far enough from downtown Government Camp to feel secluded yet close enough to walk to the bars and restaurants. All-in-all an amazing time and we can't wait to come back!'

'we loved the Barlow cabin. Unfortunately, our second day there was a power outage from government camp all the way to Sandy, and we had to check out early. Carol and the team were great and very communicative the whole time we hope to come back up as soon as we can make it'

'We had a great stay here. Quaint ski cabin with ample fun tucked away bunks for kids. This would be such a fun place to stay for two adult couples and 4plus kids ranging ages 5-12. With older teens the bunks are a bit small but the couch is the perfect place to unwind after a big ski day!'

'We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.'

'The other reviews I saw gave this place a one star, this place was actually really nice and I don't really know why they thought it deserved such a low review. I only had to drop my review of it from 5 star because when I purchased my reservation it had 'Hot Tub' listed in the listing, which I am to gather from my conversation with the owner was a mistake. In any case, TL;DR, this place is very nice but does not have a hot tub but was listed with one when I made my reservation.'
