'Quiet location outside of the city of Luxor, no traffic noise, peaceful and beautiful scenery located right along the Nile River! Very accommodating staff, polite and prompt service. Food was very tasty, dish’s all clean and overall a great experience very affordable! '

'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Alhoewel men culinair hier en/of daar wel een steekje durft laten vallen is, zijn de 3 restaurants, op hun geheel beoordeeld, bevredigend. Vooral het restaurant La Fleur, met soms aangename verrassingen. De "Happy 1+1 hour" in Ascot Bar, van 5:30 pm tot 6:30 pm is m.i. eveneens een nuttige, onderbenutte tip ....'

'Fantastic stay at the Djorff Palace. The setting is magical located on the quite and beautiful West Bank, the Palace allows a peaceful stay along the Nile’s shores. The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. 'Uniek is de ligging, namelijk vlakbij en vanaf het dakterras met uitzicht op de Habu Tempel. Het personeel is heel betrokken en doet er alles aan om je op je gemak te stellen. Vooral als je alleen gaat is dat heel belangrijk. '
