'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. 'Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. 'Vechtend tegen invallende duisternis bleek ik een huis te zoeken met een bruin bord boven de deur....geen uithangbord of B&B bord in de tuin zoals vroeger. Ontvangst hartelijk in een huis waar alles te laag was voor mij....en ik ben gewoon gemiddelde lengte. Wel werd ik aan een eet adres geholpen een eindje verderop. Daar goed gegeten en klem gestaan tussen vloer en plafond. De kamer zou een TV hebben...ik wilde match of the day kijken....maar geen tv gevonden. De en suite badkamer was aan...

'The White House was easy to find, with parking outside. Our hosts were lovely, genial and very welcoming. Our ensuite room was warm, comfortable and homely. The complimentary welcome tray was the best I've ever seen with lovely homemade cake (huge slices!) 2 small bottles of wine and 2 bottles of water. The beds were in the firm category which suited my husband more than me. Our room was at the back of the house and was very peaceful at night time and the village seemed quiet the next...

'Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. Can highly recommend.'
