'Beautiful spot looking directly across to lake Taupo. Very friendly owners very nice and clean facilities. And homemade cookies a very nice and personal touch. Close to shops and restaurants. Only downer is a small amount of mould on the ceiling in the bedroom Probably due to the poximity of the hot tub. All in all a positive experience lovely and clean i would definitely recommend a stay at the Gabels clean warm and very friendly'
