'As our family grows we look for places where we can all stay together. This rental was the perfect spot!! Exceptionally lovely, well equipped so cooking was a breeze, plenty of bathroom space and a pool to bring our temps down. We could not have been happier, and the owner was especially helpful. Gorgeous views and home. Highly recommend.'

'Time with family is so important so I offered my daughter and daughter-in-law a retreat to the hill country as a birthday getaway. Lori was an exceptional host by making sure we had great water to play in and a welcoming gift inside a lovely clean home on the creek! There were paddle boards and a kayak with oars at the ready for us to enjoy the water activities. My daughter-in-law tried out the paddle board and learned something new. My daughter decided the kayak was more her style and enjoyed...

'We made a last minute trip to Bandera for the rodeo and found this wonderful home very close to downtown. The house was very clean, the owners were very nice and communicated everything throughout the process. They go over and above to make everything great, we hope to stay longer and enjoy more of Bandera and the surrounding area next trip.'

'No hot water for 24 hours. Finally by the second night we could take a hot shower. Otherwise the stay was nice.'

'This house was exactly as advertised. We were in the area to visit friends at the Frio river. Utopia was a short 20 minute drive to the river. We will definitely keep this place in mind for next year.'

'Really enjoyed the location. Ha ing 2 cabins was a plus especially as a first timer on VRBO. Only suggestion....when someone gets the check-in and info from the owner....take a snap shot. The cell signal was horrible, 0 service. We didn’t do that and had to double back to get signal. Other than that we loved the whole property. All you really require is clothing, toiletries and food.'

'Property was clean and beds were comfortable. It's unfortunate that the lake levels are so low because of the drought that there is no water view from the beautiful windows all along the back. 'The house was absolutely perfect and everyone was so impressed. We had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. There were 9 of us who stayed in the house, but we had more family over for dinner one night. There was plenty of room and the house was perfect for entertaining. Lisa was also the perfect host. 'The cabin was nicely located and looked as per the photos. We were not satisfied with how it was stocked. The towels are old and there isn’t enough of them. Same is true for the dishes, especially the silverware. There were 6 of us and not enough for us all to have a fork and knife. There were no trash bags, napkins/paper towels or coffee filters. The outdoor trash cans were overflowing with trash which caused the animals to get into it. The TV doesn’t work. The place just needs some TLC from...

'This place was clean and quiet. Two things of note: check in email said there is no Wi-Fi password but that's not true anymore and the listing needs to be corrected. Luckily we found the small note with the password on the wall by the tv. In an area where I couldn't get any signal on my VzW cell phone that's an important detail. Second, there's a big difference in temp in different rooms in the house. We froze in the master bedroom while our sons were too hot in the other bedrooms. My step son...

'The site is well located if you plan to spend time riding motorcycle around Twisted Sisters. Also, it does have very good roof garage to keep cars and motorcycles under the roof... At night we had rain and hail... the covered garage contributed with the success of the trip. The 4 starts on cleanliness was due to one of our members to be very sensitive to allergies, he suffered a lot on the house, but could be just him. I will recommend or even book again as a hub for any Hill Country Trip.'

'Nous venions de séjourner dans un ranch privé et non touristique à Bandera et pour une soirée barbecue dans le village, j'ai choisi cet etablissement pour ne pas prendre la voiture. Je recommande fortement Bunkhouse pour son emplacement et surtout pour la propreté de la chambre, joliment décorée. Très bonne literie, salle d'eau agreable et café de qualité fourni genereusement. L'entrée sans clé est appréciable et l'accès avec un code est une facilité appreciable. Ne pas hesiter à sejourner ici....
