'Location is not easily accessible especially after dark. The local pub let me borrow one of their guys to escort me into the bushy property. Upon arrival the lights were turned off and the hotel keepers came out because my new friend called them out. He told them I was guest and that was when the confusion began. 'We had the best time ever in this gorgeous home. The views are amazing. We had coffee with toucans and macaws, evening visitors like coatimundis, and so many other birds. Stargazing was fun sitting by the pool at night. We loved jumping in the pool after a day of adventures, and even swimming in a pop up rain storm. 'The main bed was small for two adults and the resort itself was a bit run down. The tennis courts and pool were not usable. The kitchen had a good supply of pans, utensils, and kitchen tools. The area itself was super quiet.'

'We traveled in October. It was an amazing view and experience to be in the middle of nature. Saw monkeys right from the beautiful deck. So natural and peaceful. Amazing It sleep 5 however it’s one room, a dome house. We thought it was 2 bedroom from description. It’s luxury camping. Just amazing. Beautiful beach. Tree top views. NEED 4x4 to get to this specific dome house. WILL GO AGAIN. Super happy.'

Kitchen was infested with ants and effectively unusable, forcing us to eat out. 3. Curtain rail in the bedroom was held together with duct tape and eventually fell down onto my children. 4.Beds were misrepresented in the listing. It advertised one King and two Queens; in reality, it was one Queen and two Double beds. 5. Only two towels were provided for four people....

'Dome was very musty smelling with mold on lampshade, debris on bed and carpet/floor and no water pressure. Host was notified water had run out and mold/must and showed up to offer us to move to other dome. Once moved, the skylight in the larger 2 king bed dome had leaked and bed was soaking wet and standing water on the floor. Skylight was falling out of ceiling. TV remote was not in living room space. Clear window on dome was so dirty could not even see out of them. Would not recommend staying...

'I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. '

'The house was spacious and clean, the kitchen was large and fully equipped. The kingsized bed in the master bedroom was large and comfortable with a great morning and night view. The pool was as advertised: very nice temperature and large enough for a family. The TV worked well with many channels but we did not use it.Eunice, the local property manager, was quickly responsive to text and phone communications.We enjoyed our time at Villa Serenidad immensely.'

'The castle of Oz was an amazing place to stay. Its secluded enough to see animals yet close enough to town and the beach to enjoy all. We had a party of 13 and it was perfect for all of us. The staff was amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Having a chef and driver's really made the difference in this trip. Especially having the drivers because they know where to go. 'We enjoyed the overall experience. We wish we would have had more time at the biodome. It was pretty cool but I feel there are a few things that could have been addressed. The entryway door was extremely difficult to open and close. My wife and kids couldn't even use it. It was as if either the door was swollen from moisture or just off angle.
