Gorgeous and amazing place - slamming door a factor though

This property is absolutely beautiful, perfectly appointed and spotlessly clean. The hosts were communicative, informative and 100% available. There is adorable and relevant artwork, high quality appliances, towels, even a washer and dryer - every detail has been meticulously thought out and clearly well cared for. I love Ybor and fully realize that it is not a secluded or "country quiet" place. However, the coffee/bagel shop directly beneath the unit, even though it is a brand new building, has a VERY heavy door that SLAMS over and over, every few seconds, nonstop from 8 AM to 3 PM all day every day - it literally shakes the walls. My pet was terrified and cowered under the bed. A simple, soft close door addition would 100% fix this problem. We notified the owners, and so hopefully this can be remedied, because we LOVED the place, and other than that door slamming, the street and area were peaceful and lovely. And, if you are planning to be gone during the day, then this would be a non issue. We would absolutely return, if the door issue at the bagel shop is resolved.

Great stay in Tampa

Great location for a week long business trip. Within walking distance of great restaurants and bars, and a 5 minute Uber to the convention center. Super clean and comfortable. Property owners were a pleasure to deal with and made the stay super easy. Looking to return next time I’m in town.

Exceptional Property, Exceptional Location

My wife, my dog, and I just stayed here during the second half of February 2025. To start with, it is very tastefully decorated including very cool retro kitchen appliances. While you are close to the action along Ybor's 7th avenue, it was ideal to be just a few streets away to be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the bike paths (scooters) that connects Ybor to downtown Tampa and the free trolley service as well. There is a variety of very nice restaurants, including the hipster bagel place downstairs, within a short walk. Last, while travelling with a pet, it was SUPER convenient to be located right next to a new and nicely maintained dog park. We were very satisfied with this stay. 2 thumbs up!!

Property and Location Excellent. A few glitches at the beginning.

First, property was very comfortable, looks like the pictures, and was well-located a short walk away from great restaurants and bars on 7th Avenue.A few glitches the beginning. Credit card charge was 1,000 more than the price stated by property owner. Call to property management company yielded a quick correction.WiFi didn’t work. Multiple email enquiries yielded little. In fact, several replies were boiler plate repetitions of how to use WiFi, sent by an actual human. A coaching opportunity for this person’s manager.The actual problem was that the circuit break was tripped for all of the outlets. I figured this out eventually and the problem was solved.The people I actually spoke to at the management company were professional and responsive. Sometimes things just happen. I would stay in this property again and recommend it to friends visiting Tampa.I would give it 4.5 stars if that were possible.

Nice location

The location was nice. Very convenient to the free Teco trolley. It will take you to the aquarium, the cruise port, Amalie Arena, etc. Communication with the property mgr was perfect.

Perfect Ybor place

This was my second time staying at Casa Romeo. It is clean and well maintained. It being above a coffee shop makes for a very safe feeling spot. I travel for continuing education and as a solo female traveler I appreciate feeling safe! Walking distance to anything you want to do in Ybor. Cute little dog park next door that makes for fun happy people watching over coffee or a cocktail.

Great place for a short trip

I stayed for a week and it was great for just me being there. The communication was great with the team when I had a question. Only suggestion would be to have an information booklet in the place so future renters do not have to text to find out things like what the wifi password is, and restaurant recommendations would be good to have in there as well.

Really Nice Place

We came to visit family, and take in NHL action. Our lodging was very nice, easy access to Ybor Restaurants and super easy to get to trolley. Accommodations and hosts were top flight. We would stay here again, and likely will be. The nice coffee and bagel shop on first floor a bonus. The on street parking was no issue for our rental car, I thought it might be ,, but really worked just fine. It will for you too.

Great little place

Quiet neighborhood (minus the neighborhood wildlife - roosters) that is well within walking distance of food, drink and trolley to downtown. The bagels downstairs and coffee are great the staff is wonderful. Overall I would stay again in a heartbeat and to think we only stayed here because another reservation fell through for us when this was easily a much better choice.

Beautiful Ybor City apartment with amazing hosts

Everything about my stay was delightful. The Brightwild team communicated everything I needed to know in advance and they were super accommodating when I needed to extend my stay. The apartment is beautiful, the bed was super comfy, and my dog had the best time at the dog park right next door. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect!

The location can't be beat. Walkable to all cool parts of YBOR. Coffee shop downstairs and dog park next door are super cute and fun to feel like you are a part of. Check in was easy and the team is very responsive to any request for help. The property is exactly as advertised.. even better actually. Sparkling clean but with zero hint of toxic chemicals and none of those poison plug in air freshener things. Thoughtful touches throughout. Kitchen fully stocked and even a Britta filter. I already booked my next stay here and looking forward to it!!

Great Location with Great Access to Ybor City and Central Tampa

This property, simply put, is incredible. The short and sweet version: this will be my home away from home when traveling to Tampa. The Brightwild team, particularly Chase and Kimmy do a fantastic job of both maintaining this studio apartment, but also have it decorated very well. During my stay, I invited 3 other businessmen over to the property for a meeting in the Living Area followed by a short walk to some of the greatest hand rolled cigars in the US available on the 7th Ave strip. The conference I attended was at the Convention Center. By using the free trolley service, I saved at least $100-240 dollars in parking fees at the venue. I will most definitely be staying here again.
