« I took my grandchildren there for two nights. Our biggest mistake was I didn’t make ferry reservations long before our trip which made us drive through Seattle both ways. Once we got to the place, it was fantastic! Took kids paddle boarding and checked out a water fall. »

« We stayed here to visit our child at University of Puget Sound. It was very close to Tacoma, and offered a resort-style atmosphere with great shopping and restaurants. What a lovely quiet retreat after a day of driving and visiting! There was even room to have dinner and a movie with our family at the home. This will be our first choice during the next visit. »

« This was our 4th VRBO stay in the Poulsbo/Silverdale area. We all agreed that this one is our favorite. It’s very well stocked, clean, and kid friendly. Having only one floor is much easier with little ones (and let’s face it, our knees!). We also appreciated the 11:00 checkout time. Trying to get out the door by 10:00 with a 2 year old and a 9 month old is tough. The hot tub and play structure were such a bonus! We are looking forward to our next stay. »

« Lovely, well appointed home right on the water. We loved sitting out in the back and watching the eagles, seals and even otters. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics ready for you. We did not venture out to Hoodsport, but there are restaurants, coffee shop, etc within walking distance. Would love to visit again in the future! »

« The view is outstanding and the house is clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine (we didn't use the sauna). Be aware that there are several sets of stairs to access the beach, and the side road to access the house from Hwy 101 is a bit dicey. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are only a short walk away from Dosewallips State Park, the Geoduck Bar and Grill, and the Halfway House Restaurant (which was very good). Thank you, Beverly, for sharing your home with us. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay at Fair Haven. The house was clean and well appointed. The kids loved having the upstairs room all to themselves and played as much foosball as video games. We also enjoyed the sauna and picking oysters fresh from the beach.The home was dog friendly; if you have a dog who needs a lot of walking there's not much space along the shoulder of the highway, so be prepared to drive to a dog park in nearby Belfair. We all wished that we had more time and better weather so...
