Our home is a unique, 12-sided yurt-style cabin with vaulted wood ceilings and hand-scraped wood plank floors reclaimed from a barn in Oregon. The 360° fireplace is cozy and warm from all sides. Surrounded by forest, the deck and 2-person hot tub are ultra private with no neighbors below and national forest on two sides. Two full-sized bedrooms and a loft recommended for kids. Every bed is a king with upgraded bedding! We look forward to welcoming you!
No check-in necessary with a unique access code door lock for each guest. There is a parking pad in front with enough space for 2 vehicles. With it being at the end of a road, you'll have enough space to park a boat trailer in the summer.
We will be available to you (phone/text) should you have any questions about the house or directions. With the NEST system, if we know you are on your way we can even preheat the home for you!
Owner managed & operated so no dealing with rental companies!
Though we will not likely be there in-person, we will be available to you (phone/text) should you have any questions or need anything.
We have a local contact in the event of emergencies or any maintenance issues and will provide that information before your stay.
West Shore is the Best Shore and Talmont is in the heart of it all! Page Meadows is not only stunning, but it is the launching pad to so many activities. We are a mile from FireSign Cafe and Sunnyside. All the skiing and boat marinas for you to choose from.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is available during the winter, approximately from November through May.
Vehicle: In the winter, there can be significant snowfall. The drive up to the house can reach a 12% grade, and a 4x4 vehicle will likely be necessary during or after a storm. Please keep this in mind when choosing what vehicle to drive to Tahoe. The main roads in the neighborhood, as well as the parking area at the house, will be plowed often. A shovel will also be provided for your use.
Trip Insurance: Tahoe is known for storms, fires, power outages, and all the fun that comes with the Sierras. We strongly recommend trip insurance in case any issues arise, as we do have a strict cancellation policy.
