'I did not look up YHA before going to Sydney, Australia so I had no idea I had booked a hostel. We did have a private room and bath. Room was spacious and clean. There was no refrigerator in the room, but again; I did not know it was a hostel. Plenty of power outlets. Staff were friendly and VERY helpful. Location was great- easy walk to Sydney opera house and bridge. Beautiful views from the rooftop bar. Did not eat breakfast, but it looked very nice. Did not use the kitchen facilities or...

'Arrived early in the morning at 6.00 after a 30 hours flight finding the hostel closed. I had to walk around the streets for 3 hours before they opened. Arriving back at the hostel they finally opened at 9.30, i explained my story to the receptionist and my only reply was they open at 9.00 and check in at 14.00. Then i asked if there were any beds available at the moment so i could catch some sleep after my long flights and again the only reply was check in at 14.00

'Awesome place . Will stay here over and over again . Love the cafe . Great coffee and food . The vibe was great. I basically walked all over the place . Clean room , comfortable bunk beds , respectful roommates, bathrooms and showers pristine. Staffed by awesome folks who’ve been so kind . Love the building architecture. '
