'Fabulous holiday home. Warm , clean and very well equipped.Very close to the town for wandering to the shops, pubs etc. & opposite a lovely park and some great dog walks (we headed for the Monsal Trail)Super comfy beds and lovely en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.. always a big plus when there are lots in the group. Great cooking facilities and equipment, and a lovely great big dining table .Perfect for eleven of us for a family meet up Great host who kept us well informed with check in...

'We had a lovely three night stay at Lancaster Cottage to see out 2025. The cottage was so welcoming and cosy - exactly what we were looking for. The decor and interiors really add to the atmosphere and make it feel like a home away from home. Katie has truly thought of everything, from games to all the helpful information you might need in the guest manual. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lancaster Cottage and would love to return.'

'Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. '

'We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...
