'Lai was a great host and looked after us well. He cooked lovely dinners and told us about the local walks and even played the guitar for us. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming in the river and patting the cat. Just note that during our visit the wifi wasn’t working and we found the bed uncomfortable. Also, take cash to pay for your meals.'

'It's a good place for your first night of last night before you go to the islands. Don't spend too long here. The beach is dirty and the sea too. Don't expect a white beach and blue water. The food is expensive, just go to Bamboo at the end of the road to get lunch and dinner, much cheaper and better. It's a good place for just one night as it's close to the airport. Also try the local bus!'

'The tides apartment was one of the best places we stayed at while in Fiji! It was a bit difficult to locate since gps guided us to the opposite side of the fence. We had a bit of a misstep with check in and proper instructions were not given on how to get keys for the house. The property did also have security on the premises which was a nice bonus.
