Great host! She checked on us when we were arriving late the first night to make sure we weren’t having trouble finding it. The house and bedrooms were very spacious and very clean. The house had everything we needed for the stay and our crew of 5 guys were very comfy, each with their own room. For my fellow MTB friends, this place is 20 minutes from Jarrod’s place. It’s a quiet out of the way house with 2 covered parking spots, perfect for the bikes and staging gear. I highly recommend it for a weekend of shredding at Jarrod’s. Summerville downtown is only about 10 minutes away and we found a couple excellent restaurants there.

Patricia was not the most accommodating host. My group of 8 stayed, including family who were in town to attend a wedding. The groom asked me after I confirmed the booking if I could ask to have his fiancé stop by to meet family. I asked in advance if this would be OK – she said no. Because of the importance of this introduction, I made more attempts to negotiate and pay money to have her visit briefly, she would not allow it. It was too late to cancel otherwise I would have. I received messages from a number (outside of app) at first to check in and then to accuse me of having “9 plus” staying onsite. The hot tub, which is featured in the subject line of the rental was closed. We were met with a binder on the kitchen counter with excessive extra charges as well as a notice that the hot tub was being serviced “because it’s hot and a good time to do it”. She did not disclose that people live in the building directly adjacent to the pool that is pictured in the listing. She denied anyone was there despite us having photos of the lights on at night and witnessed movement in the unit. The house was clean and most of us were comfortable except for the hard beds upstairs. The internet was weak – we were unable to use TVs or stream on devices. Patricia fixed the internet by the 2nd day but it cut out again. She has cameras around, which is fine, but also not disclosed. Would be nice to work with people and fully disclose policies so it results in a better experience.

If you want away from everything, then this place is great. The house was big and we enjoyed it for the most part. Pros: its a big property. Large pool and tons of privacy except for ring cameras at the entry doors. Its quiet with lots of wild life. The kitchen is huge and has lots of bedrooms for everyone to spread out.The towels were super soft and fluffy so we all loved that.The host was accommodating but does live just behind the property. Cons: The building behind the pool doesnt go with this rental but is on property.The pool large was in need of updating. The liner was literally taped up and it had tons of debris at the bottom but left nothing to clean it. We did ask for a skimmer and that was provided for us. The master bathroom toilet is not screwed down and moves alot. We put a rag under it to keep it from moving. I did throw that rag away. Laundry service can be provided but there is NO LAUNDRY ON SITE. There is a laundromat about 10 munites away but it cost 10 a load to just wash. Not much for cleaning supplies either such as mop broom and dust pan, basics. A little vacuum was left but i was better off hand picking up crumbs. Kitchen pots and pans were useless and in really bad condition so i did buy ourselves pots and pans to use. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and i found a dead bug when i pulled the covers back so we ended up sleeping on top of the bedding and used our own blankets. Overall we tried to make the best out of this rental

Amazing!

We had an amazing time and this property did NOT disappoint! The checkin was easy, the house was immaculately clean, very spacious, quiet, the pool was crystal clear, and the property manager was very attentive. We had no issues at all. This was the best stay in a vrbo that we've ever had.

Girl Trip Fun!

We had a great time hanging out by the pool! It's a quiet, rural setting which is great for relaxing. With five bedrooms there was enough space for each of us to get our own room and lots of space to cook/hangout in the common areas. Patricia was easy to reach and very helpful.

The property was very enjoyable and extremely clean. Kids had a great time in the pool and we enjoyed the property very much. The amenities listed that there was a washer/dryer and these were not available during our stay, that was the only negative. The host did offer free laundry service, so that was nice.

Beautiful house and a very quiet area. The screened in porch was the best way to end the night. It does include dishes, but does not include laundry room. That was the only thing we didnt like about it. But over all it was a good stay.10/10 highly recommend. Would stay again.

The house is nice and the property owner was very responsive and caring to our needs and visit. When I seen laundry I assumed that it was at the house so I could do laundry but it isn’t she does offer a laundry service though. I either miss understood or didn’t see that only the people in the stay can be on property no visitors allowed.

Perfect Family Getaway

We recently visited this property with extended family to attend my nephew's college graduation in Rome. The house was perfect to fit our larger group. It was tucked away in our own secluded area but was still close enough to Rome to allow us to easily enjoy the events at the college, shopping, etc. The house was clean and looked exactly like the photos, including the beautiful pool and backyard area. The host was easy to communicate with and was engaged, even brought us extra beach towels after a rain storm. We had a small unforeseen adjustment to our number of guests and Patricia worked with us to allow an easy solution. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a getaway in the area.

Here’s a review you might consider: I recently stayed at this VRBO property with my mom while we dealt with unexpected water damage at our home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the property owner made us feel right at home, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She frequently checked in to see if we needed anything extra, offering additional supplies with a level of kindness and generosity that truly made a difference during our stay. This was, hands down, the best time away from home I’ve ever had, despite the circumstances. Five stars aren’t enough to express how grateful we are for her hospitality!. I recommend this home to anyone wanting a great vacation experience!

Family Business Trip

Wow! What a gorgeous home! Everything was as expected but the communication by the host was what really meant a lot. We were subtlety checked on almost daily via text to make sure everything that we needed was met. The back porch is PERFECT for families to sit in the sun, play games and to enjoy that HUGE pool! This will be our go to house for these trips moving forward!

This house provided the exact accommodations my family needed. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. The hot tub was not working during our stay. I found the master bedroom window open with no screen right before going to bed so that freaked me out. It’s my hope the previous tenant opened it and forgot to shut it. The owner was great to respond to all questions and checked on us throughout our stay.

Wonderful home!

We had a great stay at this house! The host was very communicative and her house is beautiful and well stocked. Plenty of pots, pans and seasonings available for use. The location was perfect between Summerville and Rome. The hot tub was a big hit! Our family had a great time and will definitely be back in the future!

The home was really beautiful. It was cold out so we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub. Next time we will come up in the summer months. There where a few things the internet wasn’t great and we would look the show we where watching, the kitchen really didn’t have a great selection of bowls and pots and pans that weren’t old and needed to be replaced. But the overall time we spent was great with our friends and family. Thank you.

Wedding

It was after four pm be for we could check in had a wedding rehearsal to be at at 6:00 pm had 8 adults needing to get ready for rehearsal. Called host no answer text host no answer . Called support they couldn’t get up with host. Got House keeper to finally let us in around 4:20 pm why she finished cleaning last room . The hot tub was out of order, couldn’t find the washer. My guest left on Sunday a day early because the beds where hard so they got a hotel , the master bed was good. Nice quiet area and pool was nice
