'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'We had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing fortnight. The gite is spacious, very clean and comfortable with everything you could need - a real home from home. 'Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. 'Beautiful gite with all the facilities you could think of. A lovely welcome package of bread, butter, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hosts Fran and Johnny were on hand if needed and very friendly along with their lovely children. The gite was well decorated and very clean.
