Cottages in Sturminster Newton

'Very pleasant stay. Very cosy cottage, well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. Really enjoyed the break and the friendliness of the local people. Definitely recommend The White Horse where we had a lovely evening meal.'

'Nice quiet location with good dog walks from the door. Sadly the pub was closed for annual holidays, but plenty available nearby. Overall the cottage was quite comfortable, but it was not very clean in places and crockery had been put away dirty.'

'Lovely place, lovely countryside.'

'We had 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay, it is a quirky cottage in the country but close to several towns, hosts were excellent and cottage very well thought out'

'Pet friendly and very clean with good commas'

'Really lovely cottage, it's a bit isolated but really this is also probably one its positives as you can disconnect and relax. The cottage is a very good size, the beds are big and comfy and the owner is very welcoming.Great for dog owners as there are gate on the stairs and a fenced garden if you want somewhere for your dog to relax.Would highly recommend'

'Idyllic location, beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Friendly welcome. Central location meant we were able to easily visit many places from Stonehenge to Lyme Regis and beyond.'

'Fabulous holiday home, in a great location with fantastic amenities. The house was spotless. We had a lovely vase of flowers on arrival along with tea, Coffee, sugar, milk and some chocolate biscuits.(Maybe would have been nice to have Salt and pepper) We had an amazing stay, the beds were all very comfy. The bathrooms were great too. We were so close to town and were lucky enough to have been there for the festival. I would recommend this house for any large groupsThe town has lots of lovely pubs...

'Een aanrader! Leuke mensen, geweldige ontvangst en alles erg goed voor elkaar. Top!'

'House very close to park and beach'

'The cottage was perfect for our needs and Vicki was a great host. We have a bit of a nervous doggy but Vicki kept her dogs out of the fenced area while we were there so there were no issues there. Loads of beautiful walks in the area, perfect for the doggo! The cottage has a great little kitchen with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are excellent.'

'Lovely place, peaceful location. Great Bathroom, Beds comfy, Knives sharp and pans non-stick, everything working as it should. Probably the best we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places over years. Garden fenced well and secure for the Dog. You can access short walks from the house but its only 15 min to walking beaches like NT cogden etc. and Symondsbury 1 mile up the road. So we had a very enjoyable few days.'

'Stunning location, nice little cottage and very attentive hosts. Attentive, but not overly so!'

'Returning to Upper Vobster Farm is always a great joy, with its many blooming roses and its variety of flowers, flowering bushes and shrubs, lush trees and greenery along the many walking paths. The energy felt there is very settling and vibrant. LM'
